Lion-O is the biggest offender, as he is now a complete idiot, without any kind of charm. The characters are depicted as dumb goofs which often act happy which little to other emotions.Even certain shows like Xiaolin Showdown, Kim Possible and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) were originally action shows, but had a right amount of humor. Speaking of which, some cartoons that were serious had comedic spin-offs that worked such as RWBY Chibi, Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman: The Brave and The Bold, but this show failed at that, since it uses poor toilet/crude humor and generic comedy scenes that were bad or boring. You know you've failed BIG TIME when parody versions of ThunderCats are able to do comedy better than the actual comedic spin-off of ThunderCats.

Even the MAD sketch "ThunderLOLCats" and the Robot Chicken sketches of Thundercats, both which are from (intentional) parody shows, did the comedy better, while this show did not.And the thing is, the originals had a really dark tone (possibly more than Teen Titans (2003), The Powerpuff Girls (1998), and Ben 10 (2005) combined, though to be fair, it had lighthearted moments), so any chance of making an action comedy of ThunderCats would be a very rancid idea to begin with. The tone also is very off-place, being way too light-hearted and comedic. Not only that, but the designs even try so hard to look "cute" (the announcement trailer depicted Lion-O making the ":3" face), but as said before, it just fails. This style usually never works for cartoons with anime-esque looking designs or better yet, action cartoons in general. The generic thin-line animation style (or rather, bean mouth style) is used for the characters, which ended up failing miserably but yet typically with altering the body proportions drastically. It doesn't have any charm, heart, or basically anything that made both the original and the short-lived 2011 revival great at all. It instead feels more like a YouTube parody that was somehow picked up by Cartoon Network due to its massive popularity (keep in mind that this actually happened with Annoying Orange). Horrendous grasp of the original source material: the real issue is that it's far from being an actual ThunderCats show.Perhaps we should all simply show our support for the show, instead of nay-saying and complaining. Let’s see what happens with Pumyra, and (crossed fingers) BENGALI!!!!!! Let's try to remember that so far there are only 14 episodes, they have as many toys out as they have characters. I highly doubt that they have simply given up. The toys: Bandai made it clear that Thundercats was their new life-line with regards to male oriented toys. that CN will be coming to Canada this year - So they MAY be waiting for that expansion before they start to really push Thundercats. Cartoon Network is also currently expanding. With regards to the episodes in Ireland, I'll have to go back and find the article, but there was a RUMOR of some licencing issues with regards to airing the show in North America. Suddenly, just because there is NO mention of ANYTHING on some obscure article, the poster of this thread is making mountains of Mole (master) Hills. It has been LONG confirmed that they (to an extent) "rushed" the first season, and it has been LONG confirmed that Thundercats is doing just fine in ratings and popularity. It had been LONG confirmed that Thundercats is signed for 52 episodes. I think this article is simply someone trying to kick up a fuss on the forum here. It's all completely ass backwards, thinking ThunderCats is dead by any CreepySariFan You know, all the comics that are in production right now to promote more ThunderCats worldwide, is just more evidence that the property holders are gearing up again to get things rolling for the franchise.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised Young Justice and Green Lantern were even on the list, as the hiatuses on Young Justice have been worse than the ones against ThunderCats.
#THUNDERCATS CARTOON NETWORK CANCELLED SERIES#
also i'm sure in the history of television there has been a series that was canceled even though it had a previous order of episodes by the network that canceled it.Toy New International isn't a real press release from Cartoon Network though! They're just reporting on a badly put together promotion from CN. It very well may be that your right but to make the assumption that it be over is not crazy. to think this might not be a sign that show might be canceled is silly. Nothing is wrong with us were all responding to a published report on a press release by cartoon network in which thundecats was not included.
